Allium Room
The Allium room is a large, restful, bay windowed room at the rear of the house, overlooking the secluded garden.
This room has an exceptionally spacious traditional Edwardian style en suite bathroom featuring a free-standing bateau bath with floor mounted taps and shower handset. It also has a large 120cm shower with both a fixed watering can head and a hand held shower. A beautiful moulded leaf framed mirror highlights the traditional cast iron fireplace. For your comfort the bathroom has underfloor heating and a large heated towel rail, and an illuminated demisting mirror over the washbasin, with an integral shaver socket. We also provide a range of high quality toiletry products, shower caps, towelling dressing gowns and a high powered hair dryer.
The bed is a superking Hypnos which can be separated on request to give a twin bed sleeping arrangement. The duvet is 100% white duck down (non-allergenic duvets available on request) and the pillows are White Company memory microfibre & John Lewis microfibre. The bedlinen is crisp white 100% Egyptian cotton and a sumptuous topper is provided to ensure a luxurious and restful night's sleep.
The Allium room has a high ceiling with original plaster coving, which accentuates the pretty feature chandelier. There is a traditional fireplace and attractive painted bedroom furniture including a dressing table and stool. A button-backed upholstered armchair provides a tranquil spot to read while overlooking the garden.
As with all our rooms, there are tea and coffee making facilities. There is a small 100% silent fridge with fresh milk and fresh filtered water, and a generous hospitality tray offering a range of organic teas, Fairtrade coffee and hot chocolate, and edible goodies. There is a flat screen TV and good access to free WiFi internet. A luggage rack is provided.
Please note the whole house, including all bedrooms, is non-smoking.
The room rate is £200 per night for 2 guests including breakfast and free off-street parking if available. The room rate for single occupancy is £10 less per night.
